Following Jesus in a Divide Age

We live in a time of deep division, hurry, and competing allegiances. Jesus’ invitation to “follow Me” is not merely to agree with His ideas but to apprentice our entire lives to Him. We are called to a lifetime of learning to abide in His presence, embody His life, and join His mission in the world.

Follow Jesus in a Divided Age – an 8-week journey exploring what it means to be an apprentice of Jesus.

  1. Jesus doesn’t just invite us to believe in Him; He calls us to become like Him.
  2. Following Jesus means laying down our false identities so we can live from who we truly are in Him.
  3. Abiding with Jesus takes practice!
  4. Jesus calls us to embody the ethics and values of His Kingdom as we live in a very real and messy world.
  5. While discipleship is personal, it is not private. The call to follow Jesus is a call to community.
  6. Discipleship demands allegiance and sacrifice. Jesus invites us to count the cost before we follow.
  7. True disciples remain rooted in Christ when the world shakes. Resilience comes from hearing and doing His words.
  8. Disciples make disciples. We are sent to invite others into the same life of apprenticeship.
