SUMMARY:Friends & Family Sabbath
DESCRIPTION:Connect with family & friends at home.  Bible study will be provided. \nNo in-person or online services. \n\n\n\nFamily & Friends Sabbath: A Time to Rest\, Connect\, and Celebrate\n\n\n\n\nAt Oasis Church\, we understand the value of creating intentional space to rest\, recharge\, and connect with those who matter most. This year\, we’re introducing something new: Family & Friends Sabbath\, happening on the last Saturday of the year. \nThis special Sabbath is designed as a gift to our church family—a time for everyone\, especially those who faithfully serve week after week\, to pause\, be present with their loved ones\, and experience the joy of meaningful connection. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhy Family & Friends Sabbath?\n\n\n\nWe believe that rest is a God-given rhythm\, and this intentional day is our way of living that out together. It’s an opportunity to step away from regular responsibilities\, reflect on God’s goodness\, and focus on relationships. By setting aside this time\, we hope to create space for gratitude\, shared worship\, and deep conversations that strengthen our bonds with family and friends.\n\n\n\n\nOur Plan for This Year\n\n\n\nThis is a trial year for Family & Friends Sabbath\, and we’re excited to see how God uses this time to bless you and your loved ones. It’s a chance for our volunteers\, staff\, and congregation to rest and recharge\, preparing us for the year ahead with fresh energy and focus.\n\n\n\n\nHow to Participate\n\n\n\n\n\nPlan Your Day: Decide how you’ll spend this Sabbath—whether it’s a family devotion\, a shared meal\, or an afternoon of reflection and worship.\nUse Our Curriculum: We’ve created a simple\, flexible curriculum with activities\, scripture\, and prompts to guide your time together.\nEnjoy the Gift of Rest: Use this time to step away from distractions and lean into God’s presence with your loved ones.\n\nWe hope this Sabbath becomes a meaningful tradition\, reminding us all of the beauty of rest and the importance of community. Let’s make this a time to cherish as we close out the year and prepare for what God has in store. \nDownload Curriculum
